Hey guys, This is my idea for trends I think that we could take the trends and ask a boy and girl from each grade to asy what they think about it. We could also ask one teacher....that would be kinda funny
Hey guys, For the art page i thought we can have a picture of the world on the background and we can have pictures of people doing different things in the foreground. what ever that person is doing we can then take a picture of them from a different angle. for example, we can take a picture of someone working from the front. then we will take a picture from the back, then from the right and so on.
Hi people, For the random funny stuff page I thought of a couple of ideas. We could have a section that has quotes from people that are really stupid, funny or just plain weird. for example if someone said "who is john maccain?". another idea could be that we classify people in different groups. For example, we could have 2 people classified as the 2 most likely people to run for president or something like that.
“What did you do at school today?” isn’t that the first thing your mom asks you when you get back from school? The answer that you always give is “nothing.” But when you say nothing don’t you remember something in the day? You might remember what happened at lunch or something funny a friend said. Everybody has their own life at DAA. Their own viewpoint. 8th graders would have looked at this year as the last year of freedom before they have to start working hard. 6th graders might have looked at this year as the year the workload becomes greater. 7th graders looked at this year as the year they turned into a teen and had fun. A lot of things changed this year. We had a new day system. Color houses were developed. Different people will have different views about these things. For me, the best part about DAA is the diversity. There are so many different types of people. In this yearbook we have tried to have all the events described in different peoples views. So I hope that after looking at this yearbook you might look at this year in a different way.
Dubai American Academy student life depicts that of a roller- coaster! From the hard work and effort pumped into gaining good grades D.A.A. takes you on an enjoyable thrill of excitement throughout the year. Thrills of this roller- coaster ride include activities such as advisory and color house challenges, Moga Madness, Spirit Week, W.W.W., and simple things such as lunch. The school provides the students with an unforgettable experience every minute of each school day, such as that on your favorite roller- coaster. Parts of the roller- coaster, such as a loop forcing you to turn upside down, may lead you to think that your life is over, as grades do, and the teachers at D.A.A. offer time to help over come each of these experiences allowing you to finish with a great appreciation of your achievement. Dubai American Academy allows you to have a wider understanding of the world around you and enforces the belief that you can accomplish anything you set your heart to.
